You guys must have an idea by now (if you follow my stories) how much we love french toasts. It’s one of those items that we keep going back to for our weekend special breakfasts.
Why French Toasts?
I particularly enjoy making french toasts because they are
- easy,
- consume less energy to make (as compared to parathas) and
- quicker too.
- And the best part is, we all like to have it (even E looks forward to have ’em). In short,
A total win-win situation in every possible way. yayyy
And Why Tiramisu French Toasts?
I am high on tiramisu these days as you guys must’ve an idea if you follow my stories on Instagram.
Also, I thought that normal french toasts wouldn’t be too appealing but guess what, I was wrong… I got some requests for those as well when I shared on my stories. I’ll be doing a post on them now inshaa Allah. But for now, try this one out and enjoyyy.

About Tiramisu French Toasts: Eggy fried piece of bread soaked in milk and egg mixture with a twist of tiramisu.

Tiramisu French Toasts – THE RECIPE
GET:
Frying pan
Beater (Hand/electric)
Deep plate and spoons / forks
Strainer
Butter Knife
Measuring cup
Tong/ Spatula
SET:
For French Toasts:
Bread slices 4-5 (big and preferably thick)
Milk 1 cup
Eggs 2
Sugar 5 tsp
Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Coffee 1 tbsp
Butter for frying
For Whipped Cream Mixture:
Cream (whipping) 250 ml
Coffee 1 tbsp
Mascarpone cheese 4 tbsp
Golden Syrup 2 tbsp
For Garnishing (Optional):
Chocolate powder
Icing Sugar
Golden Syrup
GO:
For French Toasts:
Mix coffee in 2-3tbsp water and set aside.
Beat the eggs with sugar and cinnamon powder until smooth.
Add milk, vanilla essence and coffee (dissolved in water) to the mixture.
Soak bread slices thoroughly in the mixture.
Heat butter in pan and fry the slices on medium heat.
Transfer them to another plate once they turn golden brown.
For Cream Mixture:
Whip cream until soft peaks are formed.
Fold in mascarpone cheese, coffee (dissolved in water) and golden syrup.
Set aside.
Assembling:
Assemble the slices on top of each other.
Top with whipped cream mixture.
Dust chocolate powder and icing sugar over the toasts.
Serve with golden syrup on the side and tea or coffee.
MY TWO CENTS:
Adjust the sweetness to suit your taste buds.
Use thick bread slices.
Bread slices should be soaked perfectly to give the extra-loaded taste.
Use unsalted butter.
You can substitute mascarpone cheese with cream cheese if you like.
