We chose to be part of the protest that was held in favor of Palestine at the Beehive last wednesday. As I stood there listening to the speeches I felt blessed, privileged enough for the choice I had. The option that I can to come out of my home, hold a placard and support the cause is rare in this world.

‘Jab khud Maa banogi to pata chaley ga!!’-
Ammi would say this quite often and we used to laugh it off when we were younger.
I remember once we went to Murree, we (siblings) tried to take a sneak peek down a high winding road which wasn’t secured by a railing. Ammi was terrified and even though Abbu was with us, she was constantly refraining us from moving ahead while holding hands of 2 of the youngest ones among us. The whole situation looked hilarious to us that time and we made fun of it.

You stay at home – You don’t do anything!
Generally, I don’t get to hear negative statements about myself. Naaa, It’s not because I am so good that people don’t get a chance to pass their precious comments about me – Nope, not at all! lol. The reason is that I totally avoid such toxic, judgmental, I-know-it-all kinda peeps… trust me this is the best way to dodge away those pessimistic statements and lead a happy care-free life.
However, there are days when you are bound to get scrutinized by people from such shitty mentality clan and you Continue reading “You stay at home – You don’t do anything!”
Home to School – Made Easy!

Check out the article and find out mixed feelings I had about E being starting the school shortly. That time we did not have the slightest clue that we’ll be moving to New Zealand very soon even before E turns the age (3.7yo) to start schooling in the UAE.
Fast forward to NZ; Continue reading “Home to School – Made Easy!”
