‘Humanity’ constitutes of the word Human but is actually devoid of HUMAN.
How ironic!!

I’ve seen people playing games like

• Gulab jamun but not gulab,
• Singaporean Rice but but not Singaporean
• Nargisi koftay but not nargis

Guess the Human race took this game a bit too serious and deprived humanity of human (traits).

Every time I take a look at social media (mind it I am not checking news), it greets me with a distressing news.

I was just figuring out what to write about Racism (which has taken the internet by storm in the past few days) to record my teeny weeny voice (not that it will make much difference but just to add up to it for my satisfaction) after learning about George Floyd’s brutal murder and the riots that followed the said incident.

Then came in the news about the barbaric act of feeding pineapple filled with firecrackers to a 15 yo pregnant elephant. I was still in a state of shock and horror but the internet wasn’t done yet. While scrolling through Instagram feed I came across the unfortunate news about the little angel, Zohra Shah who was beaten to death for the grave sin she committed by setting some parrots free.

What kind of world are we living in? How low can the human race go? Is there any limit?

Look at the sky, the sun, the moon, the day, the night, even your own self… Almighty Allah has created such beautiful world with humans being his Ashraf-ul-Makhlooqat (best creation). But what we are doing? dirtying it with all the filth we have inside us. The superiority complex is not only about white and black man rather it is about being a HUMAN.

The HUMAN who is in power,
The HUMAN who is in charge,
The HUMAN who thinks that he has the right to do anything because he is the best of all creations,
The HUMAN whom Allah almighty created to show humanity but alas!

Or maybe the HUMAN is not humane after all?
