OOTD – Casual Look!

It’s been so long since I have shared any OOTD post, the realization hit me hard when I saw the date of last OOTD post on the blog and it was about an year ago. Where is time going, man? Ok, this is not the topic of today’s post so let’s keep this discussion for some other day. Today I am here for an outfit post, which falls in the category of most loved posts (by you and me too, the feelings are mutual 😄 ). It’s about a casual look I donned last weekend for a friend’s birthday bash keeping in mind the activities planned for the evening. We had a couple of plans for the night which included:

  • Karting,
  • Laser tagging,
  • Mini Golf,
  • Cake cutting and coffee hangout, and,
  • Dinner (at some other place)

Yessss, all this in just one outing. Because we don’t get too many chances to leave our kids behind at home with their fathers so this was like ‘Ja Simran ja, jee lay apni zindagi‘ sorta instance 😂. In short, the idea was to set ourselves FREE and go CRAZYYY! (which we did) Hahaha

Anyhow, coming back to the point, I wanted to wear something which gave me room to gear up with thermal tee beneath (it was too damn cold that day – typical Welly weather). Also, a dress that I can carry easily in all the above-mentioned arrangements while looking good at the same time (natural feelings! aren’t they? 😉 ). And this is what I came up with!

Top: Khaadi
Pants: Sacoor Brothers
Scarf: Aldo
Clutch: Jafferjees
Khussas: Random shop at Saima Mall

TOP

As it is crystal clear that I was excited to the core as a result of which I decided to dive into the stock of newly acquired tops that I brought from my last Pakistan visit. Because new clothes double up the excitement instantly. Haina!

I opted for this top among the available ones as it was befitting the criteria I’ve stated above. This is a ‘free sized’ shirt which means I could easily wear the thermal tee inside without being caught… Lol. Also; you, your ammi and your younger sister, everyone can wear it (if you are up for sharing that is… 😝)
